Trinity College London (TCL) ir starptautisku eksaminētāju organizācija, kura piedāvā kārtot eksāmenus (digitāli sev tuvākajā eksaminācijas centrā vai arī klātienē Apvienotajā Karalistē), lai iegūtu sertifikātu ar norādītu līmeņa apstiprinājumu savā specialitātē. Iegūtais sertifikāts ir starptautisks novērtējums, kas tiek ņemts vērā augstākajās mācību iestādēs, kā arī uzsākot profesionālās darba gaitas specialitātē.

Eksāmenu iespējams kārtot akadēmiskās un džeza mūzikas specialitātēs (klavierspēle, elektroniskie taustiņi, vokālā mūzika, stīgu instrumenti, koka un metāla pūšaminstrumenti, džeza koka pūšaminstrumenti, ģitārspēle, perkusijas, mūzikas teorija), kā arī rokmūzikai un popmūzikai atbilstošajās specialitātēs (basģitāra, elektriskā ģitāra, vokāls, elektroniskie taustiņi un bungas).

Pieteikšanās un nosacījumi:
Eksāmenu var kārtot vairākos līmeņos, sākot no iesācēju (Initial) līdz astotajam (Grade 8), kā arī augstākajos piedāvātajos līmeņos, proti, ATCL, kas atbilst konservatorijas 1. kursam un LTCL, kas vērtējams kā bakalaura grāds. Nav noteikta vecuma vai klases, kurā iespējams kārtot eksāmenu, proti, savs līmenis ir nosakāms, izvērtējot savas iespējas apgūt obligāto repertuāru tajā.

Katra līmeņa eksāmenam piemērojama attiecīga samaksa, kuru nosaka Trinity College London un LMMDV eksaminācijas centrs. Eksaminācijas procesu var uzsākt pēc apmaksas veikšanas (skatīt izmaksas, exam fees).

Iespējams izvēlēties starp divu struktūru eksāmeniem:
Pirmais ceļš — kombinētais
Eksāmena aktīvais process sastāv no divām daļām:
*skaņdarbi, kas veido 66% no visa vērtējuma, kā arī **praktiskā (tehniskā) daļa — veido 14% no visa vērtējuma.

Otrais ceļš — tikai specialitāte.
Iespēja kandidātiem kārtot eksāmenu tikai savā specialitātē, proti, tikai izpildīt obligāto repertuāru (bez tehniskās/praktiskās daļas):
• Jāizpilda četri skaņdarbi (Grade 6 – Grade 8 līmeņa vokālistiem — 5) no obligātā repertuāra, kurā iespējams iegūt 25% (vai 20%) no kopējā vērtējuma par katru skaņdarbu.

Eksāmens tiks ierakstīts LMMDV skaņu ierakstu studijā un pēc tam tiks nosūtīts TCL. Pēc tam, kad eksāmenu komisija izvērtēs sniegumu, tiks piešķirts sertifikāts

Mūzikas teorija:
Trinity College London mūzikas teorijas rakstisko eksāmenu pieņem trīs reizes gadā – februārī, maijā un novembrī. Respektīvi, kandidāts var kārtot eksāmenu tikai kādā no šiem mēnešiem.

The Centre of Competency-Based Professional Education Liepaja Music, Art, and Design Secondary School has become a certified Trinity College London examination centre. (pdf certificate) It has been assessed as competent and equipped to host exams.

Trinity College London (TCL) is an international examination organization that offers to do exams (digitally in your closest examination centre or face-to-face in the United Kingdom), after this, you earn a certificate in your specialty as an acknowledgment of your skill level. This certificate is internationally acknowledged when enrolling in higher educational facilities and looking for a job in this field.

It is possible to take the exam in classical and jazz music specialties (piano, electronic keys, vocal music, string instruments, woodwind and brass instruments, woodwind jazz instruments, guitar, percussion, music theory), as well as in the specialties corresponding to rock and pop music (bass guitar, electric guitar, vocals, electronic keys, drums).

Application, conditions:
The exam can be taken at several levels: from Initial to Grade 8, as well as at the highest levels offered — ATCL, which corresponds to the 1st year of a conservatory, and LTCL, which is evaluated as a bachelor's degree. There is no set age limit or grade in which it is possible to take the exam, that is, one's level can be determined by evaluating one's ability to learn the mandatory repertoire in it.

For each level of examination, a fee is applicable, set by Trinity College London and the examination centre MIKC LMMDV. The examination process can be started after settling the payment. (see exam fees, izmaksas)

Apply for the exam by contacting the consultant of MIKC LMMDV examination centre, Eva Ločmele (eva.locmele@kultura.lv, tel. +371 26402893). Accordingly, an application form will be sent out, and, after it is completed by the examinee, the form will be sent out to Trinity College London. After arranging a possible exam time, the exam will be scheduled with Trinity College London.

It is possible to choose between two exam structures:
First path — combined, in which the active process of the examination consists of two parts:
*repertoire, which makes up 66 marks of the total valuation, and
**technical part — 14 marks.

Second path — repertoire only (without the technical part):
• Four musical pieces (5 for Grade 6 – Grade 8 vocalists) from the obligatory repertoire, where it is possible to get 25 (or 20) marks for each piece.

The exam will be recorded in MIKC LMMDV studio, after which it will be sent to TCL. After the examiners evaluate the performance, a certificate will be given.

Music theory:
Trinity College London offers the opportunity of doing the music theory exam three times a year – February, May and November. Hence, the examinee can take this exam in a chosen date from only these months.
